Prof. Laxmidhar Behera, the Director of IIT Mandi, brings over 28 years of research and teaching experience to the institution. His expertise spans intelligent systems and control, vision-based robotics, warehouse automation, and brain-computer interfaces. Dr. Tushar Jain, serving as an Associate Professor and the Dean of Students at IIT Mandi, earned his Ph.D. in Control, Identification, and Diagnostic from Université de Lorraine, France. His research focuses on mathematical control theory, fault-tolerant control, and climate-controlled agriculture. Dr. Jain leads the Centre for Continuing Education at IIT Mandi, where he emphasizes the importance of equipping students with practical AI skills.
